This software release includes a new versions of Mail For Exchange and Nokia Maps. The release also includes a number of performance improvements including camera viewfinder orientation, Mail for Exchange synchronisation and browsing. Please note that if you have encrypted your device or memory card, decrypt it before the software update to avoid possible data loss.

The Nokia E71 scored nine out of 10, with WIRED’s editors commenting, “The E71 is stocked with enough apps and goodies to keep even the most overworked road warrior on the ball, but it didn’t feel too “business.” That’s mostly due to the fact that the E71 has two separate customizable home screens. Rafi has got the chance to test drive on the Nokia E71 and the unit he is playing with is in white skin design. Nokia E71 should be announced officially really soon, according to a report by Reuters. Official press info is said to be available next week, which could be the Nokia Connection 2008 in Singapore.

Nokia E71 is the slimmest business messaging device from Nokia so far. At 10 mm thickness, it has a built in GPS, bluetooth, WiFi and 3.2 megapixel camera. Another model Nokia E66 in slider form should be announced together with Nokia E71 too.
