Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo Get Delays Due To Natural Disaster In Japan

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo will not be able to launch on time. They are facing a shortage on supplies caused by the disaster that happening in Japan recently. Since most of the components and hardwares of the Xperia Neo are made of Japan.

As we know, the device is hitting the market on April 19th. But now, most of us have to wait a couple more months ’till we can get our hands-on it. The device is predicted to be available in July. There’s no certainty in this but we just could hope everything will work out for the best.

Amazon.de Offered Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo For €345

Amazon.de (Amazon.com’s Germany subsidiary) have begin to take pre-order for Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo today. The device comes in three different color variation along with several pricing. The red color will be the cheapest handset out of the other color. It will cost you €345.81.

On the other hand, the blue gradient will be €376.99 and the silver cost you €379. The handset was first announced two days before the MWC 2011. Along with some other smartphone: the QWERTY keyboard-equipped Xperia Pro and PlayStation-certified Xperia PLAY.

The Neo features a 3.7-inch FWVGA scratch-resistant display with Bravia Engine technology, 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus and HD video recording capability, Qualcomm’s 1GHz Scorpion processor, HDMI out, HSPA, WiFi, while Android 2.3.

Neo launches new Ellipse handset

Neo has announced the launches of its latest phone, the Neo Ellipse. The Neo Ellipse measures 110 x 44 x 15 mm, with a semi reflective dark finish and a molded chrome center spine. The phone is 15mm thick at the very center and tapers down to just 3mm on each end. The Neo Ellipse will be launched in the GCC and a few Asian markets by October 1st and other markets will follow soon after. The Neo Ellipse will also be available for sale on the www.stuffbyneo.com website.

Neo has also launched in Hong Kong and the three major cities of India; namely, Bangalore, New Delhi and Mumbai. “We have started sales this month into the major retail chains like Hotspots, Cellucom and The Phone Store,” says Amjad Ali, Senior Vice President of Neo DWC-LLC. He continues to say, “It has taken us some time to enter this market but now that we are in, our design driven brand will add some flavor to the Indian mobile phone market.”
