HTC Merge Hitting Verizon, Not On Sale Yet

The last time we heard about this device was way back in September last year. Now, we finally have more details on the handset. According to AndroidCommunity, the HTC Merge is hitting Verizon Wireless starting today.

It appears that Verizon does not want to involved with the Merge. You will not be able to purchase the device via Verizon Wireless themselves. The only way to get them is through 3rd party retailers such as Alltel Wireless. However, it will still function under Verizon connection.

Motorola DROID 2X Images Leaked

Motorola DROID 2X images has been leaked today by Android Central. Come to surprised, its pretty much the same as its brother. But, the DROID X2 have better and faster hardware with it’s Tegra 2 dual-core CPU.

The handset would runs on Android 2.2.2 but we are hoping to see Gingerbread by the time it get ship. To top it, the device might have Verizon 4G LTE. There’s no further details on the device but we’ll find it out very soon.

DROID 2 Features 1.2 GHz Processor

The DROID 2 is featuring 1.2 GHz processor. Verizon has placed the pictures of the DROID 2 on their website along with a little note on the corner of the device. As you can see on the picture, it has 1.2 GHz processor, global capacity, and responsive QWERTY keyboard.

The DROID 2 will priced at $149.99 for two years contract (after $100 mail-in rebate). You can head to Verizon site here to learn more.

Check out the new promotional video for the Motorola Droid 2 Global. The Droid 2 Global isn’t much different from the original Droid 2 but supports global roaming that allows you to make and receive calls from over 200 countries..

The device is the first smartphone with a 1.2GHz processor. Also, there’s a 5MP camera and better QWERTY keyboard. When available, it will be sold in navy blue or white color.

Verizon Brought Back The Original DROID As Certified Pre-Owned Handset

Last time, Verizon announced the discontinued of the original DROID. But today, Verizon shows up with surprising news regarding the device. The DROID will be available as certified pre-owned handset. Surely, its an unexpected progression from Verizon but guess its a fantastic news for most of us.

You can get the device for $99 on 2-year contract. Get your DROID phone here. Although, it is used but better than nothing at all.

DROID R2-D2 For Verizon Is Now Available On Verizon.Com

The long await for those who have been wanting the DROID R2-D2 is now officially offer. Verizon has launched the device in their website for pre-order. As you can see on the picture, the handset will cost $249 after $100 (this time online discount) with a full retail price of $699.

Yesterday, our folks from Androidcommunity have done the unboxing and hands-on video. In there they mention that the device comes with a special Star Wars themed multimedia dock, Motorola headphones, 8 GB SD card, and some exclusive content pre-loading on the device itself. Apparently, the device will linger for awhile.

As we have know, Motorola is releasing their DROID 2 in World Edition. The device is the first Verizon DROID series that can function outside US perimeter. Motorola DROID 2 World Edition will be a perfect handset for those who loves to travels around the world. It supports internals capable of global roaming.

The DROID 2 World Edition has a 3.7-inch screen and comes with silver and white color scheme. We’re expecting the DROID 2 World Edition cost $199.99. I’m excited for this phone because I’m one of those who loves to travel around the world.

Verizon Original DROID 2 Gets Discontinue Cause By The Arrival Of New Droid 2 World Edition

Apparently, Verizon decided to discontinue their original Motorola DROID 2. The reason is very simple and I should said fantastic. They’re planning on replacing it with the new Motorola DROID 2 World Edition which basically pretty much the same device except it comes with GSM/HSDPA connectivity for global roaming. I think it’s not a bad idea at all but rather-as I have said previously-fantastic.

According to Boy Genius Report, after the DROID 2 World Edition has been released, the original DROID 2 will slowly disappear. There are no confirmation on when is the release date but we’re expecting very soon. As for the pricing, it will hit the market with the exact same price as the original DROID 2 which is $200 with 2 years contract agreement.

Motorola Droid 2 New Advertisement Called “DIGITS”

The next generation of Motorola Droid was launch yesterday. Motorola Droid 2 didn’t get much attention and promotion because of Motorola Droid X. Also, Verizon decided to hold the Droid 2 campaign until the end of the month. However, nothing stop us, the fellow press from getting the official commercial of Motorola Droid 2 called “DIGITS”.

This new commercial is mainly showing the upgraded keyboard of Motorola Droid 2. It starts with an office worker receive an email on his Droid 2. Then when he types with his Droid 2, his hand turns into robot’s hand. As usual, Verizon commercial is straight forward and top rated. Check out the video for yourself.
