Boingo Wireless announces that Boingo Mobile is available on Motorola’s Wi-Fi enabled Motorola MOTO Q 11 smartphone. Boingo Mobile identifies locations that are part of the Boingo Wi-Fi network and automatically connects users with a Boingo Mobile account. For a monthly, flat-fee, Boingo Mobile subscribers enjoy unlimited, global usage for $7.95, €5.95 or £3.95 per month, with no per-minute or per-megabyte fees, no contracts and no cancellation penalties.

Motorola is the first handset manufacturer to bundle Boingo Mobile on a Wi-Fi enabled smartphone. Across all manufacturers, the Boingo Mobile portfolio of smartphones includes support for the Windows Mobile, Symbian 60, Maemo Linux and UIQ operating systems.

The first month of Boingo Mobile is free for all MOTO Q 11 customers.

With an affordable price and without 3G support, Motorola has put up the MOTO Q11 smartphone on their product list. The slim MOTO Q11 comes with integrated WiFi, is ideal for people who want a high-speed connection for Internet browsing. Just like other Q-series Motorola smartphone, it has a QWERTY keyboard for fast and easy messaging on-the-go and the integrated GPS for navigation support for popular applications like Google Maps. Equipped with Windows Mobile 6.1, the Q11 enables users to personalize their homescreen and synchronize all contacts, calendar items and email, just like being on a computer.

Rumor: New Motorola Q11 Picture, Only EDGE Supported

Together with the previous rumors we have reported in September, new Motorola Q11 spyshots are now available from a Brazil website. The source also confirmed that the Q11 will only support EDGE wireless data connection, althrough the built in WiFi will help in getting a faster wireless connection with wireless hotspot. So it won’t be a upgrade for those Motorola Q9 users, but it should be designed for specific market.

Rumor: Motorola Q11 Spyshot Leaked

Bluetooth SIG has already given us the info on the upcoming Moto Q11 early this month, although there wasn’t much other specifications info and pictures on the site. It does not take long to see the actual devices though, Mobility Today posted 2 spyshots together with some info yesterday.

Other than a more compact QWERTY keyboard, the new Motorola Q11 is similar to other Moto Q-family. It will be running Windows Mobile 6.1, comes with built in GPS, WiFi, bluetooth and a 3 megapixel camera.
