Taiwan-based Mobinnova, Sony Ericsson’s new partner in producing the next version of XPERIA, announced its new flagship smartphone, Mobinnova ICE. Working under GSM, WCDMA and HSDPA network, this Windows Mobile smartphone also introduces two innovative touch sensitive controls: mobiToday and mobiShift, which allow users to interact with the phone.

Sony Ericsson to switch smartphone partner from HTC to Mobinnova

HTC is no longer partner for Sony Ericsson in term of Xperia X1′s outsourcing project (and seems the Taiwan-based phone manufacturer should keep their hands full with Google’s Android phone). The Japan-Sweden venture plans to outsource its second Windows Mobile-based smartphone to Taiwan-based Mobinnova, a handset maker under Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry).
