The uploaded videos will retain the 3D property. It is not sure if you need proper supported equipment to watch the 3D videos on YouTube. Of course, unless you have the LG Optimus 3D, you can enjoy the 3D content without 3D glasses.

Barcelona, Feb. 14, 2011 — LG Electronics (LG) and YouTube are taking a major step forward today by announcing a partnership to provide a unique 3D mobile experience to users. LG’s upcoming Android-powered premium smartphones will enable users not only to capture and view 3D videos without glasses, but also to upload and share them instantly with others via YouTube.

“The Optimus 3D is LG’s newest flagship smartphone. It is our answer to two major pain points of the current 3D experience – limited mobility and specialized glasses. Customers flying on any United or United Express-operated flight within the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands may check in at the new mobile.united.com beginning 24 hours before departure. Mobile check-in is especially helpful to customers in hotels or in business meetings who want to check in before arriving at the airport.

United’s additional mobile boarding pass feature is available to customers departing from the airline’s five hubs ? Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Denver International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, San Francisco International Airport, and Washington Dulles International Airport ? and from airports in Dallas-Fort Worth, Las Vegas, New York LaGuardia, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Ore., and Seattle. After checking in at mobile.united.com, customers can receive an email link to access a mobile boarding pass that includes a two-dimensional barcode. A refresh of the mobile boarding pass will reflect any changes to seat assignments, gate changes and upgrade confirmations.

This Ovi Maps update can be downloaded by N97 users who have installed phone software version 2.0.x. The new Ovi Maps is available through the software update client in the device. You simply open the Applications Folder, Software Update client (big green arrow) and choose the new Ovi Maps from the list.

This update is available now for users who have already updated their Nokia N97 to the latest software version (2.0.x). If you haven’t updated your software, or you’re not sure what version you’re using, you can check by typing *#0000# into your device. If the device isn’t up to date, you can update it by using the Nokia Software Updater or you can check for the latest version on Nokia.com/softwareupdate.

The Chevrolet Volt OnStar smartphone application is designed to enhance the overall Volt ownership experience with interaction and control never offered before on any electric vehicle. The application:

• displays charge status – plugged in or not, and voltage (120V or 240V)
• provides flexibility to “Charge Now” or schedule charge timing
• displays percentage of battery charge level, electric and total ranges
• allows owner to manually set grid-friendly charge mode for off-peak times when electricity rates are lowest
• sends text or email notifications for charge reminders, interruptions and full charge
• displays miles per gallon, electric only miles, and odometer readings
• shows miles per gallon, EV miles and miles driven for last trip and lifetime
• remotely start the vehicle to pre-condition the interior temperature

When a charge command is activated, the Volt owner will receive a confirmation message on the application alerting the owner that a command has been successfully sent to the vehicle. If in view of the Volt, a green LED charge light on the dash will indicate the charge state.

Traditional OnStar features such as door lock, unlock and remote horn and lights – which have typically been accessible only through a call into the OnStar call center – will now be available via the application.

Demonstration applications for the Motorola Droid and Blackberry Storm will be available at OnStarMobileDemo.com beginning 10 p.m., EST, January 5. The demonstration application for the Apple iPhone will be available on the iTunes store on January 6.  Volt’s OnStar mobile application will also be available on a mobile browser for other internet-capable phones. Volt drivers can also view and manage vehicle systems and commands from the vehicle, the internet or through a monthly OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics e-mail.

The Volt is an electric vehicle with extended-range capability. It is designed to drive up to 40 miles on electricity without using gasoline or producing tailpipe emissions.
