Opera Software today released Opera Mini 5 beta, the newest update from the previous version 4.2. The new version has got its user interface revamped, additional Speed Dial bookmarks and tabs. You can now download the beta version directly from your mobile phone or from your PC here.

Skyfire today announces an updates to its web browser, bringing version 1.1 to both Symbian and Windows Mobile smartphones. The new version will improve the performance, especially the speed improvement on the scrolling and zooming. As expected, Opera has put up its new Opera Mobile 9.7 beta1 for Windows phone on its site. Other than the new Opera Turbo and Opera Presto 2.2, there is also a Widgets manager for add/remove widgets, the default installation will include GeoQuiz, Twitter, Bubbles, MyStatus and Google Translate.

Already available in beta since Q4 last year, Skyfire has announced its first final version, version 1.0 of its mobile browser. Mozilla has announced their first milestone release of Fenned mobile web browser, it is currently available for Windows Mobile and can only be installed on HTC Touch Pro. Fenned for Touch Pro can be downloaded here, expect to see some errors with this pre-alpha release.
