Verizon will officially launch their 4G LTE network live on Sunday, December 5th. Currently, there’s no mobile phones that capable to support the network. We might only be seeing those supported phones in CES 2011.

Nokia trials its first Long Term Evolution (LTE) modem

Nokia has introduced its first ever Long Term Evolution (LTE) capable internet modem, which is based on Nokia’s own LTE modem technology development. The Nokia Internet Modem RD-3 is available to be used in LTE technology development together with various network vendors, measurement equipment manufacturers and operators.

Samsung Electronics Develops First Commercial LTE Modem for Mobile Phones

Samsung announced today that it has developed the first Long Term Evolution (LTE) modem that complies with the latest standards of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP).
