The latest handset from LG and PRADA partnership is set to hit the stores in Europe by late November this year. The handset’s user interface also receives a powerful improvement with LG’s latest active flash UI technology and haptic feedback on touch input enhancing the experience of the phone’s exclusive contents offerings. Dynamic upgrades to the software is well complimented by hardware extensions that include 3G capability with HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps and advanced 5 megapixel camera featuring slow motion video recording and DivX playback. Other features include Wi-Fi, full HTML browser, and video calling capabilities.

LG and PRADA also unveiled the new ‘PRADA Link’ (Model: LG-LBA-T950), a Bluetooth device that can remotely monitor phone calls as well as read full SMS text messages without having to extract the phone from a bag or pocket.

The new PRADA Phone by LG and the PRADA Link will be available with a starting price of 600 Euros and 299 Euros, respectively. The products can be purchased through major mobile dealerships in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, and other countries in Europe.

Almost identical to first LG Prada phone, the new telephone has added an ultra-thin keyboard slides from under the handset. The metallic feel makes it a pleasure to touch and type, complimenting the slick design aesthetic. The silver keyboard along with the additional on-screen, call and hang-up buttons gives fresh tactility to the original minimal concept.

Other enhanced features include 3G compatibility with video calling, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, full HTML browser, the 5 mega pixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens, and Wi-Fi accessibility.

The new Prada mobile will be available with a starting price of 600 Euros though major mobile dealerships in Italy, UK, France, Germany, Spain and Netherlands in the 4Q of 2008.

First heard in April, the new LG Prada phone will be a GSM Quadband phone and comes with HSDPA capability. It also has built in WiFi, 3-inch touch screen, QWERTY slider keyboard, bluetooth, FM Radio and microSDHC card slot.

During a LG event at Netherlands, GSMHelpDesk was not told directly on the release date but was hinted that “A good turkey is eaten with Christmas. When white fog rises from the skies of Milan the device will be announced there”.

The new version has the same design, except that now it comes with a sliding QWERTY keyboard for fast text entry. No further info is available, we will have to wait for the official words to confirm the rumor.
