LG has won the iF Communication Design Award 2009 for the 3D S-Class User Interface featured on its latest handset, LG ARENA (LG-KM900). According to LG, it had sold over 500,000 units in the three months after its launch in Europe.

LG today announced the release of its new multimedia touch screen phone, LG ARENA (LG-KM900) in Europe. According to the company, LG Arena has already achieved one million unit pre-orders from various carriers around the world since its announcement in February.
Said to be available by April this year, the new LG Arena has the company’s latest user interface called 3D S-Class UI. The 3D S-Class UI is a cube-based layout provides four customizable home screens for direct access to all features. Check out this video walkthrough on the new touch screen smartphone here.
SanDisk announced that LG Arena (LG-KM900) multimedia handset is using SanDisk’s iNAND 8 gigabyte (GB) Embedded Flash Drive (EFD). The iNAND storage device will be utilized by the handset as both a boot and data storage device, eliminating the need for a separate boot device.
