LG has entered into a license agreement with Iridian Technologies, to license proprietary iris recognition software from Iridian. Though, they do not mention if this will be use for mobile phone or their other products.

LG has just announced their new music phone KM380 in China today. The music phone featuring a slim body and improved audio experience by Mark Levinson. The mp3 player uses a "Restoration technology", which will repair the loss quality from the mp3 files.

LG Electronics and Prada has released a official statement in Taiwan on their next iconic mobile phone. The LG Prada II will be upgraded to support HSDPA connection and with a QWERTY keyboard add on. Their first LG Prada phone was launched in early 2007.
