Virgin Mobile USA will soon offering X-tc from Kyocera Wireless, comes with a slide-out QWERTY keypad that keeps you connected with full messaging capabilities including IM and email support. The device will retail for $99.99 without an annual contract and will be rolling out to retail stores from April 6th.

Kyocera Wireless today announced that it has begun development of a new product platform incorporating Android mobile software. The company is collaborating with Wind River, which will provide software systems integration services, including middleware and user interface integration, optimization of Android, and custom integration for technologies from other Open Handset Alliance members and third-party developers.
