Available this week, Apple has released a small updates for its iPhone with version 2.2.1. The new firmware update should improve stability of Safari web browser and other bug fixes / improvements. The whole update file is big as usual at 246.4MB. It can be retrieved with your iTunes directly.

Made for using the PwnageTool in Windows OS, the Window QuickPwn 2.1 is now available with the support of iPhone firmware 2.1. QuickPwn will unlock and jailbreak the first iPhone generation, but will only jailbreak the first iPod Touch generation and iPhone 3G.

Just about 2 weeks after the 2.0.1 software update, Apple seems to have more bug fixes awaiting with the new iPhone 2.0. The new iPhone 2.0.2 software update is available via iTunes now, no change log is available though.

iPhone Dev Team has released PwnageTool 2.0.2, which also includes the latest Cydia and the Installer 4 Beta software. The new iPhone jail break tool for Mac OS can be updated through the built in updater Sparkle. Just run it and it will check for the new software updates.

While quite a number of the iPhone users has got some errors during the iPhone 2.0.1 firmware upgrade, you might want to disable the Airplane mode before you do the upgrading.

While Apple did not reveal the change log in the new iPhone 2.0.1 firmware update, iPhoneBuzz has put up 2 iPhone 3G side by side with different firmware for comparison.

Available now through iTunes, you can upgrade your iPhone to the new 2.0.1 Firmware. The 250MB big pack is surely contains loads of changes, Apple did not release the change log and simply note as "Bug fixes" on the release note.
