In short, the iControlPad is turning your iPhone into a better gaming machine with the physical gaming buttons. Compare to its prototype, the iControlPad is now even better with built in battery and the support of other touch screen phones.

While it is not sure if other mobile OS like Android will be support at initial launch, the iControlPad can be fitted with different devices when you use different grips. The built in battery in the control pad can charge your phone battery at the same time, giving you extra time on your gaming.

Their latest prototype will give you the extra Dpad and 4 action buttons for gaming. According to the company, you will need to jailbreak your iPhone to use the iControlPad and the final size will be slightly smaller than the PSP. No release date is available at the moment.
