HTC has just presented their new HTC Diamond in a press conference in Taiwan yesterday. Available in late June, a HTC Diamond without mobile subscription contract will cost about $772 USD. According to one of the staff, the price might be different in different region.

Here is a quick hands on video on the new HTC TouchFLO 3D UI, overall the transition between the menu is pretty impressive, although we still can see some lagging on the Windows Mobile. The most funny part is when the HTC staff accidentally jump out from the TouchFLO to the original Windows Mobile interface, someone is actually screaming.

HTC has uploaded tons of videos on YouTube for its new TouchFLO 3D user interface. Running Windows Mobile 6.1 on a VGA touchscreen, HTC have developed a new, three-dimensional version of their GUI overlay, called TouchFLO 3D. This offers full homescreen access to all the applications and device status, as well as CoverFlow-style media browsing and rich icon animation.
