HTC did not upgrade the CPU though. The new HTC Desire S will use the original 1GHz Qualcomm processor, making it less attractive for current HTC Desire users. Perhaps, the best improvement is the internal phone storage. With the new 1.1GB size and the microSD card slot, you will never have to worry the storage space for the Android apps.

It is not sure how HTC manage to boot the phone so fast but according to one early tester, you might not be able to use the Fast Boot if you removed the battery after shutting down. HTC Desire HD

The HTC Desire HD enables 720p HD video recording and includes an 8-megapixel camera with dual-flash. HTC Desire Z

The new HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z will be broadly available through mobile operators and retailers across major European and Asian markets from October 2010 with the HTC Desire Z shipping in North America later this year.

The device will approach the market during holiday season with a new, white HTC Desire and a silver HTC WIldfire. The white Desire looks very attractive and eye-catching. There are no words on specification, but the special edition will have the same price as the regular devices.

While there isn’t any specifications, the HTC Desire HD (HTC Ace) is rumored to have a similar specs as the EVO 4G. It might have a 4.3-inch large touch screen, aluminum unibody design and SnapDragon processor. The Desire Z (HTC Vision) has recently leaked on Engadget. If the leaked picture is real, the Desire Z will be the HTC Desire that comes with a slide out QWERTY keyboard. Both models did not indicate if it will use the AMOLED display or the Sony Super LCD.

HTC has previously confirmed that it will bring Android 2.2 Froyo to all of its 2010 Android smartphones. Starts with HTC Desire, the company has also planned to push out the updates for HTC Evo 4G users in US on Tuesday, Aug 3rd next week.
