Sierra Wireless today announced that the AirLink HSUPA product line is now certified for use on the AT&T BroadbandConnect wireless network in the United States. High-Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA) technology supports mobile broadband data speeds between 600 kilobits per second (kbps) and 1.2 megabits per second (Mbps) on the downlink and between 500 and 800 kbps on the uplink.

AT&T today announced that, in the next month, the company will deploy High Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA) technology in the six remaining markets across AT&T's entire 3G (third-generation) wireless broadband network. When done, AT&T will have completed its deployment of HSUPA technology, which complements existing HSDPA technology (High Speed Downlink Packet Access).

HTC has uploaded tons of videos on YouTube for its new TouchFLO 3D user interface. Running Windows Mobile 6.1 on a VGA touchscreen, HTC have developed a new, three-dimensional version of their GUI overlay, called TouchFLO 3D. This offers full homescreen access to all the applications and device status, as well as CoverFlow-style media browsing and rich icon animation.
