GyPSii Goes Live on Android Platform

Already available for Java supported phones and iPhone, GyPSii has released their Android application this week. The free application allows users to place and map Points of Interest (POIs) with their handheld devices to generate location-based content and also to access the content of their friends and other members of the GyPSii community.

Samsung and GyPSii sign Multi-year Agreement for Location-Based Services and Social Networking

GeoSentric Oyj’s, GeoSolutions BV Business Unit (GyPSii), has entered into a multi-year worldwide agreement with Samsung. GyPSii will provide technology, products, worldwide data center infrastructure, and GyPSii branding rights to Samsung, on a worldwide non-exclusive basis for a range of Samsung products.
