Verizon’s 4G LTE Hotspot Give Away!

After second days in Google I/O, they received the Verizon’s 4G LTE Hotspot. So folks from SlashGear and AndroidCommunity is trying to share their happiness by giving away the Verizon’s 4G LTE Hotspot to its reader. Just so you know, the device uses the award-winning Novatel MiFi 4510L next generation intelligent hotspot device.

The device managed to operate on 20Mbps downstream and 10Mbps upstream speeds. You can connect the Verizon’s 4G LTE Hotspot up to 5 WiFi enabled devices in one time. You will also get three full months free service courtesy of Verizon.

Nexus 3 Revealed In A Brief Comment

Our sister-site, AndroidCommunity has just reported that Nexus 3 might be hitting the market in the future. Andy Rubin stated, “The Nexus has been the thing that we used to set the bar, and there’s always going to be new ones coming out in the market…we’ll make an announcement at some point in the future,” after being question by Taylor from AndroidandMe.

AndroidCommunity also covered the Ice Cream announcement. Unfortunately, there’s no further details on the Android newest operating system. But we do know that it will be available in Q3 this year.

Next Android Gingerbread Scheduled for Q4 2010?

Google today is going to announce its new Android 2.2, Froyo, at the Google IO with its detail improvements. The next Android major release Gingerbread is already rumored to be scheduled for launches in Q4 2010. The Gingerbread version could be 2.3, or even 3.0, the web media project site has no further info on its detail but the team is planning to bring the web media project completed for Android Gingerbread. First Live Video and Images on Google Android OS

androidcommunity.com has a nice coverage report and videos on the Google I/O event. A full touch screen Android prototype is used in the user interface demonstration. However, the most impressive part of the event is not the prototype device but the user interface.

Google Android team has really put in their best effort to create the software. The whole user interface is pretty fast, it response immediately and smoothly after you press the menu button or slide through the screen. The Google Maps demo, is particularly impressive. It really shows off the handset’s graphics capabilities, and as you can hear in the voiceover the 3D processing should bode well for other visually-intensive apps.
