Samsung has announced its new Android smartphone i5700 Galaxy Spica in Russia, which previously first known as Galaxy Lite. The i5700 Galaxy Spica is not exactly "lite" compare to the i7500 Galaxy. Fresh from the launch event, Chris Davies @ SlashGear has posted a hands on video on the new HTC HD2 with Windows Mobile 6.5. The 4.3-inch ultra thin body looks a little too big to carry around or handle with single hand, but it is indeed a very nice move to use a capacitive touch screen.

With the debut of the Windows Mobile 6.5, HTC has made its new HTC HD2 official and will be available this month. The company TouchFLO 3D is now called HTC Sense which integrated more functions and social networking capability with the user interface without going into Windows Mobile's menu.

Featuring the new Windows Mobile 6.5, HTC and Verizon Wireless will launch the new HTC Imagio from October 6th, which will be sold for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
