You can now connect your N82 to the Nokia Software Updater, and let it try to detect if the firmware update applicable to your country. The firmware change log is not available at the moment, one member from symbian-freak forum has reported the following

some more things I noticed:

1. ASR sensitivity is very very good. it is a bit slow but its sensitivity is how it is supposed to be. PERFECT.
2. Pictures are a little clearer now and flash also has improved.
3. Browsing through is extremely fast.
4. Music through loudspeakers is much clearer(not louder), there is no longer any distortion.
5. Music through headphones is comparable to my friends N81(Yeah tried it with many songs on the same headphones).
6. Radio reception has improved.
7. Youtube works flawlessly.
8. Startup RAM is 94.5mb.

Some important notes that you have to read

• Remove Winpwn 1.0 completely if you have it installed. Installing over the top of WinPwn 1.0 will cause problems.
• Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes ( Currently 7.7)
• If you already have service with AT&T do not activate or install Youtube Fix

The PwnageTool 2.0 will be able to activate, unlock & jailbreak the first generation of iPhone. As for the iPhone 3G you will be able to done the jailbreak only for now.

An instruction shread by a iPhone 2G user

1. I upgraded to Itunes 7.7
2. Connected my iphone. It deteced the iphone and asked for an upgrade, I just cliked download only. This is how I got the original firmware form apple Then disconnected iphone just after the download started.
3. Before opening the pwnagetool I put my iphone in dfu mode. I tried at least 4 times to do that. The trick was to hold down the power and home botton wait until it restarts. Then pluck it into the dock wait for ten seconds during the apple logo and then release it . It is totally black but itunes recognized it as in recovery. This is the dfu we need.
4. I did not choose the expert mode. Chosed iphone 1g . It had found the restore firmware that itunes had already downloaded. Asked me for the bootloaders. I browsed both of them respectively and then it created the custom ipws.
5. Clicked next and it recognized the dfu but asked for shutdown. I had problem here before, It said that it can not put the device in dfu mode. This time it detected and asked for a shutdown. I just pressed both power and home button until it restarted. Then watch for the screen. It tells you when to release the power button and when to release home button. Then it was ok. My iphone was ready to be restored with the custom ipws. The tool gave a message everything ok and i must just close pwnagetool and use itunes.
6. I didn’t do anything to iphone just left it where it was in dfu mode. Itunes had already gave the message that it needs to restore my iphone. I just said ok. The restore screen was in front of me. Just pressed alt button on the keyboard and while pressing it i clicked restore, and I showed itunes gently my custom ipws. It restored it successfully.
7. After that the phone rebooted, bootneutral was opened automatically , first it neutral the boot and then flashed the baseband. All was automatic. Then after the last reboot, there it was jailbroken and unlocked with all features working.

When available, the PwnageTool 2.0 will be able to activate, unlock & jailbreak the first generation of iPhone. As for the iPhone 3G, the team are still working on the unlock solution for it. iPhone 3G users will be able to activate & jailbreak their iPhone 3G for this release

Other than the new software updater announcement, Nokia has posted another notes below

Support for Nokia 5310 and Nokia 6500 Classic has temporarily been removed from the Nokia Software Updater service. Other Nokia products are not affected. Support will be reinstated as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

With the support of Flash Lite 3, the Nokia N95 can now play flash video, meaning you have no problem in acessing video sharing site like YouTube. According to allaboutsymbian, the new updates also adds demand paging, Web Run Time, Idle Screen Nokia Search and significant performance improvements.

For other users with the original Nokia N95, the v21.0.016 is already available since March this year.
