Sprint has just announced the Kyocera DuraPlus. The device is push-to-talk Direct Connect handset. It made to meet Military Standard 810G which means it can withstand dust, shock vibration, temperature extremes, humidity, blowing rain and water immersion.

Sprint has launched the NextMail Locator, which allows its users to push-to-send their location, date, time and voice observations to a dispatcher, call center or another field worker by pushing the Nextel Direct Connect button and leaving a message.
Sprint has also announced the upcoming launch of two new Nextel Direct Connect devices, the Sanyo Pro-200 and the Sanyo Pro-700. Both of them will be available later this month.
