Dell Streak will be receiving Android 2.2 (Froyo) this year. According to Dell’s official Facebook account, the update will be rolling to the device starting this month. We will have to wait for more confirmation on the roll out though, the current statement is only applied to the Dell Streak’s users in UK.
Rogers is offering the Dell Streak for $149.99 with a three-year contract. You can also purchase the device via Dell for $599.99. Compared to Dell, Rogers offers much better pricing. It comes with Android 1.6, but it appears the official Froyo upgrade will be coming soon.
