Dell Windows Phone 7.5 Mango Handset Got Canceled

Dell has decided to canceled their Windows Phone 7.5 Mango handset. They even plans to baled out from Windows Phone market. This surely a shocking news for Dell and Microsoft fans.

According to WpCentral, Dell is confirmed to canceled the Wrigley (WP7.5 handset). Aside from that, they also admitted that Dell will not launch any Windows Phone device in 2012. There are no official announcement as for now. Let’s see what will happen later.

The Venue Pro comes with an 4.1-inch AMOLED display. You can purchase the handset for $99.99 with a two-years commitment. So are you interested in purchasing the device?

Dell Venue Officially Announced During CES 2011

Dell Venue has officially been announced by Dell during the CES 2011. The device have a candybar like form and powered with Android 2.2. The Venue was first unveiled in South Korea at the end of 2010. Possessing a 4.1-inch AMOLED display and full protection from the Gorillas Glass. Under the hood, it have a 1GHz processor. As for the camera, it has a 8-megapixels on the back of the device.

Also, it support WiFi, Bluetooths, and access to Android Market. Dell have already preload the device witj Swype, RadioTime, ActiveSync and QuickOffice, and of course, Dell’s own Stage media app. Currently, pricing and availability remained unknown still. However, Dell mention that we will know them at the same times “in the coming weeks”.

Motorola Cliq 2 Release Date Conflicted

The Motorola Cliq 2 or so called Begonia have a new update on its release date. However, there’s two conflicted date that appears in the pictures. January 5th was stated on the above of the document but below it, they mention that it also can be release on January 19th.

We are not sure when exactly will it be release, but CES is just few days away so we are not expecting the Motorola Cliq will be launch on January 5th. It will be right to say the device will be launch on January 19th.

On the other hand, the document also state “Kodiak” under January 19th. It also state that the Dell Streak 7 will launch at the same times. We are not sure weather Kodiak is codename for the Dell Streak 7.

Dell New Tablet Get Leaked In Ad

Dell was planning to announced its new tablet during CES 2011. However, it seems that their announcement has been leaked via some ad copy. In the leaked, it mention that the tablet will be called the Dell Streak 7.

The Streak 7 will be running Android 2.2 on a 1.2GHz CPU at 1280×800. There is possibility on several changes such as a dual core CPU. The tablet will be launch on January 6th.

Dell Venue Launched in Hong kong

The Dell Venue was just launched earlier in Hong kong. Unfortunately, South Korea have to wait a bit longer this month. As you can see on the pictures, the Android handset looks closely similar with the Venue Pro except it does not have the curved back design and slide-out keyboard. The Venue has a 4.1 AMOLED display with a resolution of 800 x 480.

It also features a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor sporting 1GB ROM and 512MB RAM, microSD expansion slot, 8 megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and a 1400mAh battery. The device have a curved AMOLED display which great for viewing angles and more “natural” when swiping.

The Venue runs with Android 2.2 (Froyo) and the Stage UI with a preinstalled Swype keyboard. Priced at HK$3,999 or approximately US$514.

Dell Venue Thunders with Android 2.2 and 4.1-inch Gorilla Glass screen Heading To Korea This Month

Today, Dell has just announced their Dell Venue Thunders along site with the Dell Venue in South Korea. KT, the local carriers revealed the details on the 4.1-inch Android handset. The device will be available in South Korea by the end of this month.

Priced at 700,000KRW which approximately $606, the device received a codename, Thunder. The Dell Venue Thunder will have a gorilla glass and runs with Android 2.2 OS. There’s no words when the handset will hit US.
