Here comes another leak pictures of Motorola devices. This time it’s a mid-range handset called Motorola Domino+. The device is heading to China for right now. Hope to see it in US soon.

The device will features a 800 Mhz CPU, a 3.5″ display, 512 MB RAM, 5 Megapixels camera with flash and a VGA camera on the front. It runs on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread and packed with Moto Blur UI. The Domino+ will hit the market sometimes in August.

Motorola XT882 Launching In China As Dual-Core, Dual-Sim, Dual-Mode Superphone

Motorola is launching a new superphone that comes with dual-core, dual-sim, and dual-mode. Unfortunately, the device is currently available only to folks in China. The handset is called Motorola XT882. Its very similar to the Motorola Atrix.

The XT882 features a 4″ qHD High-Res display, an 1 Ghz dual-core Tegra 2 CPU, 8GB internal storage, a front facing camera, and an 8 Megapixels camera. It runs on Android 2.3. As we have mention above, the device will operate on both GSM/CDMA and dual-sim slots.

Samsung Galaxy S Reaching China in 3 Variants

In partnership with three major mobile operators of China, Samsung is bringing its Galaxy S in 3 variants that supports different network standard. The China Telecom will offer the a CDMA2000 device (Model Name: SCH-I909), the China Mobile will offer a TD-SCDMA model (GT-I9008) and the China Unicom will use the WCDMA version (GT-I9088). China Telecom will first launch the Galaxy S this month, while the other 2 operators will start offering the phone by end of this year.

Comes in Xperia X10 design, the new Sony Ericsson A8i is announced for China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA network. HTC Launches Its Smartphone in China under HTC Brand

HTC today introduced its brand and first HTC-branded devices in China. It has also announced a partnership with China Mobile to bring future HTC phones to market and announced a new distribution partnership with China’s largest electronics distributor, GOME Electrical Appliances Holding Ltd. Initially coming to China are HTC’s newly unveiled smartphones with HTC Sense: The HTC Tianxi, HTC Tianyi, HTC Desire and HTC Wildfire. [via slashgear]

RIM BlackBerry Curve 8910 Announced for China Mobile

From the image below, we’d suggest to our readers that options on phones are like options on cars: there’s plenty, and different regions get different options. The reason we’re saying that? Because while the BlackBerry Curve 8910 may not be the most talked about BlackBerry out there, it’s certainly one that’s shown up in other places around the world. Including here. Oddly enough, though, it doesn’t have a trackball here. It’s got that optical trackpad that’s become so famous. But, when China Mobile announced the handset’s forthcoming launch, sure enough, you get the more traditional, if not completely “old-school” trackball, right there, in plain sight.

Sure, this could be some old marketing being used, and the actual device that launches may indeed have the optical trackpad, but we’ll go ahead and say it: we doubt it. Specifications wise, the 8910 launching for CM is looking very similar to the original Curve 8900. It will run BlackBerry OS 5, has a 3.2MP camera on the back, but there’s no WiFi. Additionally, it apparently features something called Evolved-EDGE, which is apparently designed to squeeze as much speed as technologically possible from a 2G connection.

We’re not saying that this is the device you should run to China to grab up, but at least it’s not absolutely terrible, either. Then again, we don’t imagine that this is going to fly off the shelves. There’s no word on pricing or availability it seems, but we’re sure that that will come sooner than later.

Dell Mini 3T1 Heading to China Mobile

Who needs more Android-powered handsets in their lives? We know we sure do. That’s why when we look at a phone like the Dell Mini 3T1, we accept it with warm, open arms. Even if it does look like some kind of rejected handset from the turn of the century. This looks like it’s going to be Dell’s second Android handset, and we welcome the addition, especially considering it won’t be going to AT&T.

You can’t get away from the fact that this handset isn’t the most attractive piece of gadgetry on the market. But, we expect that has a lot to do with the fact that Dell is probably going to petition this device as a cheap substitute for its first Android-based handset. The 3T1 features TD-SCDMA and, right there at the top-left above the display, you can see China Mobile’s logo, so that’s all but a certainty. Hopefully that means the largest Chinese mobile carrier will launch the Android device sooner than later.

There’s a 2MP camera on the back, and it’s likely featuring Android, but that’s not actually confirmed. However, China likes to adapt Android to their own standards, and that in turn creates oPhone, and it’s a Dell. So, our bet is definitely on Android. There’s also no word on pricing, but we suggest it’s not going to be that expensive. And lastly, no final word on pricing, either. As soon as we know more, so will you.

China Mobile Wants the iPhone to Use Their 3G

The iPhone is one of those devices that wireless carriers see as a money maker. After all, it’s the iPhone. So when a company like China Mobile comes out and suggests that the next iteration of the iPhone should use their 3G network, we can assume two things: First, that China Mobile wants a money maker on their hands, that can utilize their fast network speeds. And second, that Apple definitely wants to be part of China Mobile.

But why would Apple want to join the ranks of phone manufacturers offering devices to the Chinese wireless provider? Simply put, China Mobile has over a half billion subscribers. To put that into perspective, that means they’ve got almost double the number of subscribers than the United States has in total population. Yeah, we’ll let that sink in. According to the Financial Times, UK, the head of China Mobile has reached out to Apple to make it possible that the next version of Apple’s superstar product offer up the carrier-specific 3G network. Apparently though, Apple hasn’t responded to the plea quite yet.

China Mobile has two competitors in China: China Telecom and China Unicom, and it’s the latter that has the distribution deal with Apple right now. So, the fact that China Mobile is taking the steps necessary to attract Apple onto their network means that they must be in danger of falling behind the two other companies. We’ll have to keep our eyes on this one, and see what happens if, indeed, Apple changes things up and offers the iPhone with China Mobile. It can’t be that bad of an idea for the Cupertino-based company, though. That’s a lot of monthly subscribers buying an iPhone.

China Mobile will soon become the first mobile operator to sell the Mini 3i OPhone, comes with a 3.5-inch touch screen and 640 x 360 resolution. The Mini 3i runs China Mobile’s OPhone open source platform, and pre-loaded with softwares like 139Mail e-mail, Fetion chat and digital maps for navigation. It should be available in China by the end of November.

HTC and Dopod Introduces Its First TD-SCDMA Smartphone T8388 Qilin with Mobile TV

Available from China Mobile, HTC and Dopod is delivering their first TD-SCDMA (China’s 3G service) compatible smartphone called Dopod T8388 Qilin this month with the new Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. Other than 5 megapixel camera, WVGA touch screen, WiFi and GPS, the T8388 has a built in TV antenna so that it could receive the China Mobile’s digital TV service.

Its TouchFlo 3D user interface also comes in slightly different layout. The TouchFlo 3D has a smaller clock on the home page, and you are able to add 8 short cuts under the clock as quick application launcher. Dopod T8388 Qilin will be one of the TD-SCDMA smartphones offered by China Mobile from November 15th this month.
