Verizon Wireless Goes Rugged With The Casio G’zOne Rock

Verizon Wireless and CASIO today introduced the new Casio G’zOne (pronounced Jeez_wun) Rock, comes with 2 megapixel camera, LED light, bluetooth, microSD card slot and Triple Sensor technology for Earth Compass, Walking Counter, Thermometer, Astro Calendar, Sunrise Sunset and Tides software. The CASIO G’zOne Rock is available now for $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

Earth Compass – functions as a standard compass; GPS shows the distance from and directions to over 40 domestic and worldwide locations
Walking Counter – measures steps, time, distance, speed and energy consumption Thermometer – shows current temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit

Featuring both the Casio G’zOne water and shock resistant and the Casio Exilim camera, Verizon Wireless and Casio have introduces the new Exilim C721 with a 180-degree rotating display, 5 megapixel camera and 3x optical zoom. Available in silver color, the camera module also have a LED flash and support auto focusing with Image Stabilizer.

The CASIO Exilim Mobile is $279.99 after a $50.00 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. Customers will receive the rebate in the form of a debit card.

Casio Pack 960 x 540 QHD on 2-inch Color TFT LCD

Casio has developed a 2.0-inch a-Si TFT (amorphous silicon thin-film transistor) color liquid crystal display with a resolution of 960 x 540. Casio’s newly developed LCD is based on the company’s original HAST (hyper-amorphous silicon TFT) technology, which permits higher resolution and a higher aperture ratio.

The amount of transmissive light loss (which results from higher pixel density) has been reduced by adopting a new structure based on a wiring design involving multi-layered wiring for transistors and their surrounds. Despite a reduction in dot pitch to a small 15.5 micrometers (as opposed to the 23 micrometers in Casio’s current displays), it has been possible to maintain light aperture.

New Casio G’zOne Boulder Rugged Phone Coming Soon

New Casio G’zOne Boulder Rugged Phone has been submitted to FCC for approval. Revealed today, the FCC did not put up the detail photos or documents to the public. Since the previous few models were released to Verizon Wireless, this new model G’zOne Boulder should be available to Verizon Wireless subsribers in US when announce.
