Nokia Luna Bluetooth Headset Paired Up With NFC

NFC is not always related to payment or finance. At least not for Nokia. The Finnish company has announced the launch of a new Bluetooth headset that comes with NFC-enabled pairing.

As usual, Nokia and its flashy color devices this time display a “uniquely designed in-ear device” with NFC pairing capabilities. It weight 5g and the holders is 18g. The headset features a pop-out earpiece for up to 8 hours of extended talk time and easy charging with any Nokia Micro-USB phone charger.The Nokia Luna Bluetooth Headset will cost 69 euros.

Scosche Solvue Bluetooth Speaker Powered With Solar Panel

Scosche just announce their newest product called the Solvue Bluetooth speaker. The device is eco-friendly with its solar panel features. It’s solar panel can take in the sun’s rays and stores all those energy into the internal lithium-ion battery which will add up to a year.

You can also charge the device using the USB cable in case there’s no sun around. It features DSP echo cancellation technology an also an internal accelerometer which will automatically turn on the speaker when you get into the car. The Solvue Bluetooth speaker is now available on www.eoutlet.co.uk for £89.99.

Motorola iDEN Phone Approved By FCC

Motorola iDEN phone has just approved by FCC (the Federal Communications Commission). On its document in FCC, the hnadset received two different names. The iDEN phone also called he i475 and the i235.

The iDEN phone have candybar form factor with it’s QWERTY keyboard placed directly under its screen. The handset packed with push-to-talk support and offers Bluetooth connectivity, 2.5mm headphone jack, camera, speakerphone, and an FM radio. Motorola has not officially reveal the device.

Casio Develops Bluetooth Low Energy Watch Last for 2 Years

Casio announced today that it has developed a bluetooth watch that utilize Bluetooth Low Energy Wireless Technology. It uses a non-rechargeable button cell battery, offering 2 years of battery life if you use the bluetooth connection 12 hours a day.

The company has completed a prototype and available for demonstration at CES 2011 although it is not sure when it will start selling the device. The prototype can alert you when your smartphone receive a SMS or incoming calls. You can also stop the phone alarm, incoming call ring alerts and vibration by tapping on the watch button.

Sony Ericsson Unveils LiveView Micro Display

Similar to a bluetooth watch, Sony Ericsson has announced its new LiveView Micro Display for its Xperia X10 series Android smartphones as well as HTC Desire and Samsung Galaxy S. The LiveView Micro Display is only 3.5 x 3.5 cm in size, it has a 1.3-inch OLED display, micro USB port, two hardkeys, four softkeys and able to give you 4 days usage with a single charge.

The LiveView Micro Display works by connecting to your phone via the wireless Bluetooth connection. It allows you to read your SMS, check incoming caller ID, read Facebook / Twitter updates and control your music player.

Available in Q4 this year, the retail package will include a clip and a wristband accessory. You can either clip it to your bag or wear it like a watch. A new Sony Ericsson LiveWare manager will also be available in the Android Market. It can be used to search Sony Ericsson LiveView enabled softwares developed by Sony Ericsson or other software developers.

Sound ID today announced three additions to the company’s 5 Series product line – the Sound ID 520, Sound ID 512 and the Sound ID 500 Bluetooth headset. Support the already released EarPrint iPhone app, the company is also expanding its free bluetooth software to other platform like BlackBerry and Android soon. The Sound ID 520, 512 and 500 will be available in Q4 and range in price from MSRP $79.99 – $129.99. The 520 and 512 also come with a clip holster carrying case.

BlueAnt Adds Text to Speech Android Apps for its Bluetooth Speaker

BlueAnt today released Android applications for its S4 True Handsfree Car Speakerphone and the T1 Rugged Bluetooth Headset on the Android Market. Like BlueAnt’s Q1 Android Application, which launched earlier this year, the new applications allow T1 and S4 users to hear incoming text messages read aloud automatically. The applications also provide help with pairing the devices, support tips, and a direct link to the BlueAnt Customer Service team.
