We’ve heard the grumblings about the prolific HD2 hitting the shelves here in the States for a little while now, and with its supposed release of March 24th right around the corner, there’s no shock that we’re starting to see live images of the device, carrier branded and all, popping up. This time around, we’ve got a few to take a gander at, thanks to the folks over at Tmo News.

There’s a big difference in the launch of the HD2 on T-Mobile than most other launches of devices. The carrier wants those looking for phones, and a media device, to know that there’s no better way to do that than the 4.3-inch screen of the HD2. It’s still rocking Windows Mobile 6.5 (and some say that’s not a bad thing), but it’s covered up incredibly well by HTC’s Sense UI. On the media-end of things, we’ve got Blockbuster On Demand services, MobiTV for television on the go, as well as two movies pre-loaded on the device: Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

So, if you’re in the market for a new phone, and you’re fine waiting at least a couple more weeks, then it would probably do you some good to look over at the magenta-themed carrier. Did you hear that they just won a pretty lofty award? So, before we take up any more of your time, keep staring at the images. The phone really is that good.
