BlackBerry Torch 9810 Hitting AT&T On August 21st

Aside from Verizon and Sprint, AT&T is also joining in launching more new RIM’s product. The BlackBerry Torch 9810 will be available in AT&T stores starting on August 21st. This info was found on AT&T’s Facebook page.

The Torch 9810 is one of RIM’s new BlackBerry 7 devices. It features a large screen similar to Bold 9900. The device will cost you $49.99 with a two-years agreement.

BlackBerry Bold Touch & Touch Appeared In Tutorial Videos

We have seen some leaked images on this two RIM’s devices. But today we are looking at a leaked video of tutorials for both the BlackBerry Bold Touch and BlackBerry Touch. The two videos only shows how to recognize each outer buttons on the handset.

There are nothing special on the tutorial video. It does not show any specific internal function and only shows how to used several of its buttons such as volume and power buttons. We are hoping to see more of the handset.

P.S one of the video have just been removed. To be precise, the tutorial video of the BlackBerry Touch have been removed suddenly.

Upcoming BlackBerry Press Event on August 3rd for New OS 6?

AT&T and RIM has sent out press invitation for its event on August 3rd, although it did not mention the detail, the event should be held for its new BlackBerry OS 6 and its new device like BlackBerry Slider 9800. The company’s official BlackBerry blog have been promoting and introducing its OS 6 recently with blog posts and videos. It will be interesting to see how they will compete against the Android / iPhone smartphones in the corporate world. [via slashgear]

Brief video of the leaked BlackBerry 9800, first RIM slider phone, is posted on BoyGeniusReport. While the blur video does not reveal every detail info of it, the Slider should be running BlackBerry OS 6 and support both touch screen input or its QWERTY keyboard input. RIM Names its Software Market as BlackBerry App World

Known as BlackBerry Application Center, RIM has renamed it as BlackBerry App World, which will be available soon with its BlackBerry OS updates. The BlackBerry App World will work with compatible BlackBerry smartphones running OS version 4.2.0 or higher. It will be available for users in US, Canada and UK for the initial release and you must have a paypal account to purchase software from the App World.

BlackBerry Enterprise 5.0 features that got leaked recently offers some interesting features, particularly from the end-users side. However, both the server-side BES software and handheld client need to be installed in order to use these features.

Key features including:

Flag messages and set reminder times.
View personal contact subfolders and edit contacts.
View and use contacts that are in public folders and copy them to your local contact list.
A file browser to access shared network locations to open, add, or save documents.
Forward meeting invitations and calendar entries.
Ability to add, delete, move, or rename personal folders.
Ability to view personal distribution lists in Outlook contacts.
