Samsung has release a Windows Mobile 6.5 software update for its Samsung Jack, a QWERTY smartphone released in May by AT&T US. The software update not only includes the OS version upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5 Standard, it also brings several enhancements and features. Click here for more info.

AT&T today announced that its iPhone users can now make VoIP calls on iPhone with AT&T’s wireless network. Previously, VoIP applications on iPhone were enabled for Wi-Fi connectivity. Featuring mobile web browser from Opera, AT&T will offer Pantech Reveal, Impact, Samsung Mythic and Flight by the end of this year. Both Samsung models will be available in November, while the Pantech Reveal will be available from October 18th.

AT&T and HTC today announced the upcoming availability of the HTC Tilt 2 and the HTC PURE with Windows Mobile 6.5. The HTC PURE is a variant of Touch Diamond2, while the HTC Tilt 2 is a variant of Touch Pro 2.

AT&T and Garmin announced the Garmin nüvifone G60 will be available beginning October 4 for AT&T customers in U.S. The quad-band GSM nüvifone G60 supports HSDPA wireless network, has built in WiFi, 3.55-inch touch screen and a 3 megapixel camera.

Coming to AT&T network in November and December this year, Windows Phone users will see the additional LG Monaco and HP Obsidian line up on AT&T inventory. Both smartphones should have the latest Windows Mobile 6.5, and comes with QWERTY keyboard, bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and microSD card slot.
