Apple iPad Available Late March, Optional 3G

Apple today introduced iPad, a portable tablet with Multi-Touch display, 0.5 inches thick body and weighs just 1.5 pounds. iPad includes 12 new innovative apps designed especially for the iPad, and will run almost all of the over 140,000 apps in the App Store. iPad will be available in late March starting at $499. M1 to Offer Apple iPhone in Singapore after SingTel

M1 and Apple has announced that it have reached an agreement to offer iPhone for M1's subscribers in Singapore by the end of this year. Vodafone too, Offering iPhone in UK and Ireland

Vodafone today has announced that it will also offer the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS to UK and Ireland, bringing it the third official iPhone provider in Q1 2010. Apple’s App Store Downloads Top Two Billion

Orange UK to Offer iPhone 3G and 3GS

While O2 has been offering iPhone exclusively in UK, UK users will soon to be able to purchase the iPhone 3G and 3GS from Orange, according to Orange UK's announcement today. The company has reached an agreement with Apple, although the pricing detail is not revealed at the moment. Apple fixes iPhone SMS Vulnerability with 3.0.1 Software Update

Fixing a new SMS vulnerability found on iPhone OS 3.0, Apple has just released the OS 3.0.1 software update via the iTunes software. The update file is around 280MB, a huge file though Apple didn't mention if it has also included other new features or changes with the latest updates. continued »
