RealPlayer was first introduced to Android users way back in June, 2010. The apps was welcomed greatly by Android users and as result, RealPlayer was download over a million times. Today, Android received a new update on RealPlayer.

Interesting enough, the new update was influenced by their users feedback. The apps has been changed entirely such as a redesigned home screen, a widget allowing playback from the home screen, enhanced graphics, a feature for videos and song removal, an improved way to select directories for music, videos and photos, landscape mode for music playback, music playback by directory folder, a quick way to hide video status bar, a selection for video aspect ratio, removal of the roulette wheel, and support for music playlists playback.

The RealNetworks team will always gladly take your opinion to improve RealPlayer. Now the update is available at Android Market.

You can hack your device and it will let you get Android on your HD2 phone. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the best hack out there. A new port has shows up on XDA-developers Forum that will resolve all the missing features and all difficulty.

The new port will allows the users to load the Android OS directly into the HTC HD2′s NAND ROM. The developer mention that the new port was made for Android on the device to be as close as possible to the HTC Desire stock ROM.

To be able to download Android new OS, its require MAGLDR 1.10 and the new Android port from the developer DFT. The download files is available via XDA Developer forum.

Made for smartphones running Android 2.2 or higher, Google Voice Search is now available in new version with improved voice personalization. Instead of using a generic voice recognition formula, it can now also learn how you speak and accommodate to your voice for more accurate recognition. Unfortunately, the new version is only released to users in US and support English language for now. You can download the latest version from Android Market.

When we launched Voice Search more than two years ago, we wanted it to “just work” right out of the box, without an initial setup process. And so, we built speech models broad enough to accommodate a wide variety of people, regardless of gender, age, and accents, or variations in pitch, pace, and other factors. But we always knew we could build a more accurate model by listening to your voice, and learning how you — as a unique individual — speak. So today we’re launching personalized recognition.

If you opt into personalized recognition, we begin to associate the recordings of the words that you ask us to recognize with your Google account. We then automatically use these words to build a speech model specifically for you. This speech model enables us to deliver greater recognition accuracy. Although subtle, accuracy improvements begin fairly quickly and will build over time.

The first time you use Voice Search, you’ll be presented with a dialog to turn on personalized recognition. Google takes your privacy seriously, so you can enable or disable personalized recognition at any time through the Google voice recognition settings on your phone. If you’d like to disassociate your voice recordings from your Google Account, you can do so through the Google Dashboard in the Speech section.

If you are one of the Google Apps Premier and Education Edition customers, Google is releasing a free Google Apps Device Policy on Android Market that allows you to remote access your Android smartphone when you lost it. The most useful feature is to be able to wipe out all your phone data remotely so that it will not be accessed by others.

Other than the remote wipe, a set of the policies can be defined through the Google Apps Device Policy application. You can set minimum password lengths, enforce locking idle devices, enforce password complexity and make device password a must on the phone.
