When LG first revealed the Optimus Black, they didn’t mention anything regarding its arrival to US carriers. But now, the device seems to be hitting several US carriers. It seems the Tera-WURFL data base have an LG device with a model number US855 that also received a codename Black. The “US” portion of the model number indicates the device is heading to U.S Cellular.

Aside from U.S Cellular, the Optimus Black is also heading to Sprint, Alltel, and Virgin Mobile. The handset has been found in FCC as the LS855 (Sprint), AS855 (Alltel), and VM855 (Virgin Mobile). It would features a 4-inch 480×800 NOVA display, single-core 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, 512MB RAM, and 1GB built-in storage. Unfortunately, the Optimus Black is packed with Android 2.2 rather than Android 2.3.

With the addition of five numbers to “My Circle,” Alltel customers in these 91 CMAs in 22 states will now have unlimited calling to more of the people that matter most to them. “My Circle 15” starts at $59.99 per month and includes 900 anytime minutes, and “My Circle 25” starts at $99.99 per month and includes 2,100 anytime minutes.

“My Circle” pioneered the concept of unlimited calling, and we are thrilled to offer a level of flexibility and value to our customers which is not available from any other wireless carrier,” said Lynette Jurgens, Senior Marketing Leader, Alltel Wireless. “The best part is there is no action required by our customers to receive these additional numbers—they are instantly available to eligible accounts for customers in our 91 CMAs. By offering an additional five numbers to our most popular calling plans, Alltel is providing our customers with even greater value, and the freedom of unlimited calling to more of the people they talk to most often.”

This is the first time that Samsung Mobile and Paramount Digital Entertainment have worked together to bundle full-length feature films to add promotional value to its mobile products, without creating a price impact on its carrier partners or consumers.

“We are excited to bring an action-packed movie series like the Mission Impossible Trilogy to people who buy the Samsung Delve,” said Bill Ogle, Chief Marketing Officer for Samsung Mobile. “When you combine this incredible content with the Delve’s full set of powerful features, it’s easy to stay entertained and connected no matter where you are.”

The microSD card is available with the purchase of the Delve from February 20 through April 16, from participating Alltel Wireless retail stores and authorized dealers.

Alltel Wireless customers who purchase the Delve can send in a mail-in redemption card to receive the microSD within four to six weeks.
