Supplier Shipping iPhone Components, 100 millions NAND Chips Ordered

Digitimes, a well known news portal for semiconductor and electronics industries, has reported that few component manufacturers have start to send out Apple’s components orders for its upcoming new iPhone 2009. According to Commercial Times, Apple is expected to order 2-3 million units of new iPhone this year.

Apple is also said to have ordered 100 millions pieces of 8Gb NAND chips, which is the main components for internal memory.
