Got the “quietely launch” info from http://www.mobilewhack.com/sony-ericsson-w707-alicia-in-the-wild/ and also http://www.cellphonebeat.com/entry/sony-ericsson-quitely-launches-w707-alicia/ but http://dailymobile.se/2008/09/11/pictures-sony-ericsson-w707-alicia/ wrote similar thing as you mentioned already: it’s cancelled.
