If you are one of the Xperia X10 users, Sony Ericsson has posted a few videos on the upcoming Android 2.1 for Xperia X10. The company has last promised to bring the software updates available by end of this month. The software updates will not only bring your X10 to a newer (not newest) Android 2.1, but also adding HD video recording, new pre-loaded backup software, 5 home screens and integrated contact list with social network.

Good news is the release schedule of end October is still on track, although you might only get it in November depends on your region. Check out the video below:

The current plan still holds to start the roll-out towards the end of October and onwards. (As mentioned earlier the roll-out is done gradually though so it will take some time before all different versions get the update.)
