Singtel is going to launch Bloomberg’s new multi-faceted application for mobile devices exclusively to SingTel postpaid mobile customers in Singapore. This also marks the world launch of Bloomberg’s mobile service.

This interactive service allows the subscribers to create a personalised portfolio to track the performance of their shares and stock exchange indices from the comprehensive suite of investment tools and services available. Subscribers will also have access to a currency conversion calculator using real-time exchange rates.

These unique features are in addition to Bloomberg’s up-to-the-minute, market moving financial and world news, as well as stock quotes from major stock exchanges (refer to Annex A for service features and subscription details). Bloomberg’s mobile service will be available from 22 May 2008.

Following the Singapore launch, Bloomberg plans to extend this service to other countries and territories in Southeast Asia and Greater China by the end of 2008, with further expansion plans for 2009.
