First impressions are pretty good, certainly when it comes to the physical build of the Booklet 3G. The whole thing is sturdy and compact, with only the plastic lid insert – black on our version, but available in different (though not user-interchangeable) colors – letting things down slightly. The keyboard is compact but the keys seem to have decent tactile feedback; we’ll have to see how frustrating the incredibly glossy glass display ends up.

Although there is no different on the hardware specs and design, Mobile Review’s Eldar Murtazin has spotted some changes on the built in software. First the Motorola Milestone has got mutitouch support while the US version Motorola Droid do not have this activated. You can use the multitouch for zooming in web browser and photo viewer. Secondly the Google Maps Navigation will not be supported in Motorola Milestone. Motorola will pre-install its own MOTONAV software for turn-by-turn navigation and it will only be available for 60-days trial.

You can expect to see the official Motorola Milestone announcement soon. Mean while check out the hands on video by Eldar Murtazin below

Announced last month, Nokia’s new N97 mini will go on sale this week, together with a Nokia N97 software update 2.0 to the existing N97 users. With its stainless steel cues, the Nokia N97 mini features a tilting 3.2″ touch display, QWERTY keyboard and fully customizable homescreen. The Nokia N97 mini has same software with the Nokia N97 and will be in stores with an estimated retail price of EUR 450 before taxes and subsidies.

The new Nokia N97 software update 2.0 is available immediately through the PC on the Nokia Software Update website (http://www.nokia.com/softwareupdate), and will be followed by a wide range of country and operator versions over the coming weeks as well as possibility to do the update over-the-air.

“In September, 2009, we exceeded 2 million Nokia N97 devices sold, and now introduce the Nokia N97 mini, underscoring the success of the design. We have also listened to consumer feedback about the performance of the device. The Nokia N97 software update 2.0 is a way for us to optimize the device and add new features and functions,” said Jose-Luis Martinez, Vice President, Nokia Nseries. “We are also excited about the early feedback that we have received on the Nokia N97 mini, which carries a very similar feature set to the original Nokia N97 and comes in a pocket-friendly size for those out and about.”

The Xperia X3 has a big 4-inch touch screen in WVGA resolution, 8 megapixel camera, built in WiFi, GPS, bluetooth and support dualband 900/2100MHz HSDPA / HSUPA network.

The 8 megapixel camera does not have a Xenon flash but comes with a LED flash instead. It can also record 30fps VGA video, plus a helpful list of features like smile shutter, image stabilizer and face detection. The new leaked photo above did not have the company’s unique user interface though. Just like HTC Sense, Sony Ericsson is developing its custom user interface to replace the usual default Android UI.

Check out the previous leaked video below for the Sony Ericsson Android UI

The 4.3-inch ultra thin body looks a little too big to carry around or handle with single hand, but it is indeed a very nice move to use a capacitive touch screen.

According to Chris, the HTC HD2 will first available in UK and Europe this month. It will be launched slowly through out the whole Asia by the end of the year. Good news is that the HTC HD2 will also be available for US users, which will be available around Q1 2010.
