Apple new iPhone Bumper Fit in Verizon and AT&T iPhone

Due to the slightly different mute toggle button location on the Verizon Wireless’s iPhone, the protection case for the original iPhone 4 might not fit the CDMA iPhone 4. Apple has re-designed, and will release its iPhone Bumper protection case that fit both iPhone 4 at the same time. Sadly, other than buying the new case, you can really trade in or exchange your existing Bumper if you are getting the Verizon Wireless’s iPhone 4

Windows Phone 7: Faster Apps and Games Video Demonstration

Microsoft have already published what you can expect for its upcoming major Windows Phone 7 software update here. Other than “Copy and Paste” function, another important improvement is the faster loading time on both applications and games. Anandtech has posted a video demonstration, showing the differences between a patched Windows Phone 7 and a original Windows Phone 7 OS.

Copy and paste
Soon you’ll be able to copy text from emails, text messages, web pages, and Office Mobile documents, and paste it anywhere you can type.

Using copy and paste is easy and intuitive. In many cases you just tap a word, slide your finger to highlight any additional text, then tap the Copy icon. To insert this text in a message or app, just tap the spot where it should go, then tap the Paste icon.

Copy and paste is a handy way to quickly send someone’s latest Facebook update, turn-by-turn directions from Maps, or a must-see link from Internet Explorer Mobile. Once you’ve copied something, you can paste it again and again.

The new feature adds to the list of time-saving shortcuts already built into Windows Phone, like the ability to tap an address on a webpage to map it (US only).

LG Optimus 2X Live Video

As the world first “announced” dual core smartphone, the LG Optimus 2X is available to the attendee of CES 2011. It has a 4-inch touch screen, HDMI output connector and powered by the dual core Tegra 2 processor. Sadly it will be launched with Android 2.2 Froyo, though the company has plan to upgrade it to Android 2.3 Gingerbread by end of the year. Check out a live hands on video below.

Zeus Z1, PlayStation Phone Benchmarked on Video

Previously, we have only seen the device closely externally. but now, the PlayStation Phone or so called Zeus Z1 is getting benchmarked on video. In the video, we will be able to see the Qualcomm Neocore benchmark application.

The device runs with 24.4 frames per second on average. It’s not as fast as we would expect for an gaming device but this is only a prototype. Take a look on the video courtesy of Engadget here.

Hands-On with Google Nexus S [Video]

Those who have been keeping up with the Nexus S sure do know that the device will launch in December 16th. But, our folks from SlashGear has managed to get their hands on the Android handset. We are giving our first impression along with a hands-on video.

The external form have a similar touch as the Samsung Galaxy S. What sets them apart are its unique curved display. The device features Super AMOLED screen, 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, Android 2.3, 16GB of internal storage, microUSB, and 3.5mm headphones. Unfortunately, the microSD card slot is no where to be found, this indicates no expandable memory. For further details head here.

Windows Phone 7 Cut and Paste Caught on Video

A new update for Windows Phone 7 OS will comes with a highly anticipated features, “copy and paste”. Previously, Microsoft has announced that they will be taken out the copy/paste features, months before its released. But, Microsoft also promised that the WP7 devices will obtain an early update.

A rumor mention that the update would be massive for the WP7 OS, unfortunately it’s not true. The major update that have been made is the copy.paste. Aside from that, nothing is really interesting or give a big impact to the devices.

Google Nexus S Officially Announced with Android 2.3

The second Android smartphone from Google itself has been announced. The new Google Nexus S from Samsung is introduced with the updated Android 2.3 Gingerbread in a curved design. The full touch screen smartphone comes with 4-inch Super AMOLED touch screen, front video call camera, 5 megapixel camera, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 16GB internal memory and WiFi b/g/n.

Although the new Android 2.3 Gingerbread is not bringing much changes overall, it has many improvements on the user interface, new multitouch keyboard and will support the Near Field Communication (NFC) and VoIP. The Nexus S will be available first in US starting December 16 this month and in UK from December 20.
