The Salling Media Sync, which synchronize playlists, music, and podcasts in iTunes onto mobile devices, will now support T-Mobile’s G1 and Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X1. The new version also improves performance with HTC’s TouchFLO 3D devices. Version 1.0.2 “massages” metadata inside audio files on-the-fly, before they’re sent to the device, resulting in smoother on-device browsing and an enhanced album artwork experience.

“We’ve actually seen a lot of G1 owners try the application already, and version 1.0.2 has some magic in it to make sure things work really well,” said Salling. “The G1 is now an officially supported phone.”
Salling Media Sync 1.0.2 is available now through Salling Software’s web site at a price of $22/€15 per user license, the application intelligently updates your phone. Salling Media Sync works with iTunes 7.6.x – 8.0.x, is compatible with many popular phone models from HTC, Nokia, Sony, Sony Ericsson, and T-Mobile, and requires Windows XP SP2 and Vista with Windows Media Player 11 or Mac OS X 10.4.11 and 10.5.x.
