Leaked internal document from Walmart is now stating the availability of Apple iPhone 3G in Walmart stores from December 28th. Selected Walmart stores will also have a pilot launch before the December 28th (said to be started today if everything goes well), which will have five iphones to be sold during the pilot. Walmart is selling the contracted iPhone 3G at $197 for the 8GB version, and $297 for the 16GB version.
