Together with the leaked AT&T mobile devices, Nokia has got four devices listed for year 2009 release. The Nokia Mako, Grouper, Thresher and Snapper will be available in second half of the year, if everything goes as plan according to the slides. Nokia Mako, a QWERTY messaging phone, comes without a traditional numeric keypad but got a slide-out QWERTY keyboard design. It also has a 2.4-inch QVGA display screen, microSD card slot, A-GPS, bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera and a 2.5mm headphone jack. Powered by Symbian 3.2 OS, it is capable of multitasking and HSDPA 3G data connection.
Already approved by FCC, the Nokia Grouper is a clamshell phone with a similar Motorola flip phone design. It should be called Nokia 6750 Mural when available. The Grouper is running with a S40 platforms, comes with a 2 megapixel camera, A-GPS and 2.5mm headphone jack.

Running the same OS as Nokia Grouper, the Nokia Thresher is a slider phone with an elegant design. According to the slides, it is planned for a September release and also comes with a “intuitive navigation and entertainment” design. The Thresher also supports HSDPA/EDGE network and landscape mode for map navigation.
