While I have just stopped using my old Palm Treo 650 and got myself a HTC Touch HD, crunchgear is quite confirmed that the company will make a big announcement coming Thursday during the CES. Powered by its new Nova operating system, Palm will present their new smartphone and it will have a sliding QWERTY keyboard. I am not too excited on the new slider but would definitely want to see what the new Nova OS can provide.

    Yes, that is VERY interesting.
I am almos ready to drop my 680 for…an iPhone???
Not crazy about a slider. Almost sounds like a step backward. Candy bar seems the norm these days.
    Palm better hurry.

Looks a bit too HTC for me.
Palm needs to return to being ‘inventive’ and not follow the leader.
One item they (I hope) consider is to make the charging cord also the syncing cord as iPhone did.
better if you could sync with bluetooth also.
Lets wait and see for a couple of days.
    Cheers.
