Loading ...Is the annual new iPhone product announcement become a tradition? According to an insider info on BGR, AT&T and Apple is set to announced the third iPhone in mid-June for year 2009. The new iPhone 2009 is said to be faster in software processing and also the wireless HSDPA connection with the new wireless chipset. It is not sure how will Apple change the new iPhone 2009 hardware design, it would be a surprise if they add a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

A QWERTY-keyboard would fuck up the concept of iPhone SO bad, I honestly hope and believe that they will NOT change this.

I agree, the whole point of the iPhone was to be a revolutionary touch screen phone. If they are planning to put a slide out QWERTY keyboard on it then that would be rather stupid, considering it just nagates the whole perpose of the phone and just downgrades it to the standards of a cheap $50 phone. Also I don’t think that a size decrease would be too good either. All in all I think that the current iPhone 3G is great, the only thing that should be adressed is, more storage (32gb), a better camera (at the very least 3MP) and camcorder capiblities. However the one thing I do like is the supposed matte finish, but I would rather have my iPhone to be white. Basically I think that current iPhone is nearly perfect, and I would love to see it stay pretty much the same.

A hidden, slide qwerty keyboard would make the iPhone perfect, IMHO. You can text all day without needing to look at the phone, instead of picking at the buttons like a chicken head.
