Rumor: New iPhone 2009 Casing Design?

It looks like every new iPhone leak is related to its casing design, thanks to the manufacturer in China, the photo below might be the new iPhone 2009. The back case is now in glossy matte black. It is designed for better gripping according to macrumors. Apple is rumored to be launching 3 new iPhones this year.

    Glossy Matte finish ?
    Glossy and Matte are 2 different things.

    Glossy is like “shiny” and Matte is more like “dull”, I mean the dull comment in reference to the fact that matte isn’t supposed to be very reflective in the light.

    Pick one of the other, Kim Poh Liaw.

    By the picture, it’s obviously matte.

    Sorry to spoil it but thats not even the new iphone 2009 casing, its a new protective case for the iphone 3g release two days ago by belkin and someone has added the logo and writing onto it. You can see how it countours the same as the iphone 3g. The new NanoPhone is much smaller than that!

    I don’t think the phone from eschelon conspiracy is it. There is a bar in the center which would make the screen size much smaller, plus there are actual touch/panel buttons on the button of the phone.

    the movie phone is a prop, not a real phone – and was filmed long before the new iPhone was conceived, much less manufactured. the photo is fake – obvious photoshop. these rumor articles just get dumber and dumber.

    seriously guys, are you that ignorant? any phone enthusiast would know that thats the Nokia concept phone called Nokia Aeon which they have been working on for years… looks awsome and hope it will come for sale soon. google “Nokia Consept phone” or “Nokia Aeon” and you will clearly see what i mean.

    All I know, is that if they change the frakkin form factor of the case again, it will be a total scam because, then you would not have compatibility with 3g cases that you may have purchased. I have dozens, including a few custom ones.

    I just got a Darius series case from dealsniper last week, case body is shiny, lite, seems a lot thinner than their noel series coz it’s semi-transparent which is cool, but still can use it as a mirror, I’m quite satisfied with the quality, it rocks!!

    I wonder if the glowly icon can be turned off? Although they claim 1.5x the battery life because of better battery/OLED screen, I would think that you can get even more battery life if you didn’t have a glowing apple logo on the phone.
