RadioShack Selling the HTC HD2 for only $149.99

The T-Mobile version of the HTC HD2 is one of the most highly anticipated devices getting launched this year, and it doesn’t help that the device actually (officially) launches tomorrow. But, as we’ve seen already, that’s not stopping some locations all over the map from getting a bit too antsy, and releasing the phone to customers who ask enough before, you know, tomorrow. Looks like RadioShack is just another retailer on the map.

Generally, the consensus regarding the price for the HD2 has been better than normal. The truth is, T-Mobile USA could have done a lot worse, and charged a lot more, for this stunning device. But, thankfully, they kept it to a reasonable level. That’s not stopping some stores, like Walmart, RadioShack, and others from doing everything they possibly can to get the initial 2-year contract price down, so that people go to them instead. RadioShack is selling the HD2 for only $149.99, with no mail-in rebate. And, while we’d love to say that they’re getting ready to sell the device for that price tomorrow, there are reports coming in that waiting in line for this handset won’t be necessary. In fact, you might even get to walk into one today, beg and plead a little, and walk out with your very own. If you do, we suggest making a video.

Wherever you decide to go to pick up this device, that’s not the important part. What you decide to pay for this handset isn’t the important part, either. Because, that 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, and slim form factor all dictate that the most important thing you can do, is simply buying it at all. So, get your affairs in order, check your piggy bank, and head over to the place that will make your purchasing easier. But, all we ask, is that you wait until tomorrow. Because, that’s the official release date.
