Photobucket today announced the availability of a native photo upload solution for the new Palm Pre phone. As a pre-installed photo upload partner, Photobucket lets Palm Pre users easily send photos taken on their mobile device to a Photobucket album without having to download an application. Users just take a picture and tap on the Photobucket entry to send the picture to their Photobucket account.

“Taking photos with a mobile device is quickly becoming a favorite way to capture memories,” said Pam Deziel, vice president, Developer Marketing, Palm, Inc. “With Photobucket integrated into the core functionality of Palm Pre, photo taking and sharing is a breeze.”

To set up a Photobucket account on Pre, select “Photos” from the launcher, tap “Preferences and Accounts” from the application menu and select “Add An Account”.
