    Yeah, I’m waiting for the white one also. Is it just me or is T-Mobile missing the mark with the pre-order. Let me explain.

    1. Since you can’t hold or see the phone physically, wouldn’t you post a lot of pictures and maybe a 360 degree view of the phone?

    2. What about offering the white one, since it’s the one that’s predominantly advertised by HTC on their own Web site (where, by the way, there are a lot of pictures availabe)

    3. People that you talk to at T-mobile are excited about the phone, but can’t even talk intelligently about it.

    4. Get people excited and use this momentum by having a detailed Web site that showcases this phone like it deserves. Hey, they’re comparing it to the iPhone, right? They have a better site for the Sidekick. What are they waiting for? They can create more buzz right now.

    Anyways, just some of my gripes. I love T-mobile though. Just hope the lines aren’t long to get the white one when the G1 sells in stores.

    I want the white one as well. I called t-mobile and they say it will be available on Oct 22nd. Not available for pre-order.

    The G1 will only be available where t-mobile’s 3g network is available other than that you will have to get stuck with the black or brown one, since you can only order off their website.

    I would love the White G1 in all White I Hate that they put that god awful grey backing on the phone. It would be sooo cool and hip in ALL WHITE!!! Also why is it not available to pre-order??? If I can’t get the G1 in ALL White then I will go to AT&T and get the iPhone 3G with better 3G coverage. It’s cheaper anyway, as of now I only qualify for the $100 discount so by the time I upgrade and everything the G1 in the colors that I am not even interested in, comes out to about $350 which I think is a rip off right now in this economy and considering I can’t even touch or feel it.

    Yeah it seems that everyone wants the white one because I do too. Where I am our T-Mobile stores aren’t even selling them until next year but I’m going to order one. It does suck that you can’t physically see and play with one before you order it because I keep reading diff. things that keep changing my mind on wheather or not I’m going to get one and I don’t know what true but I’m still going to get one, you can always return it. The bottom where the talk button it makes the phone look a little funky but I have been waiting on T-Mobile to come out with a phone like this so I’m definitely not passing it up. I just hope it’s worth it.

    you will not receive a white G1 they have had a problems with chipping of the paint on the phone there working on resolving it

    So? When will it officialy be out in stores? One employee of t mobile in Woodbury MN said that it is just starting to distribute to stores on the 22nd, but will probably in all stores throughout the USA in a week or two? Any one know what that means! I’m 15 I have a Sidekick 3, upgrading to T-Mobile White G1 and I really want to get mine no later than 22nd. If so then i’m prob gonna wait. NEED ANSWERS!

    Here is the official word from a T-Mobile Rep. Who told me yesterday 10/21/08 that the White G-1 will not come out until after Thanksgiving Day! So this really sucks fro me caus now I must wait longer but… I guess patience is a vitue. I hope this helps everyone!!

    Hey I got my G1 on the 22nd! It rocks! well for a 15 year old teen like me. I got a black one tho. I really want a white, but the store emplo. told me its not comming out till the week before thankgiving. Man that got me ticked off. Oh well the black one still owns the weird looking brown haha. Well i’ll give this phone a 4.5/5 only because of the keyboard. The keys arent that much pushed out so when your instant meassge or texting its easy to type wrong. Oh well this phone still kicks my old phones butt. My old phone was a stupid Sidekick 3 about 2 years ago, then I switched to a old version Katana. THis phone is excellent.

    Wow, love how all the 15 year olds are complaining about the color of the phone, if your paying for it yourself, i.e. you have a real job and pay your phone bill too, then go head and complain, but if your mommy and daddy are buying the phone and paying for your data service just shut up and be happy you have a phone period. sorry but i have to rant and i dont care if this is the right place or not, its like when you hear kids who havent hit puberty playing M rated games online bragging about their 50 inch plasma with surround sound. just shut it, why dont you let your parents sit with you while you play and rap off every curse word known to man, oh thats right if you did that you’d be slapped and grounded for being a wanker. so just shut and wait till you grow a pair to complain you spoiled little twats.

    i have played with the G1 since a tmobile at my work has had one avaible to preview .

    its an amazing phone, and if you pre-orederd it, you won’t be disapointed.
    everything the phone can do is insane. its everything you’d want in a phone and more.

    I HAVE THE BLACK G1. AT 1ST I WAS SO EXCITED BUT ONCE I GOT TO PLAYING WITH IT, IT WAS A HUGE DIAPPOINTMENT; I LIKE THE WHITE G1 BUT ITS NOT EVEN WORTH IT. YOU CAN’T EVEN ADJUST THE CAMERA SETTINGS, ITS DEFINITELY NOT WHAT I EXPECTED..BUT THAT’S MY OPINION, OTHERS MAY LIKE IT.

    T-Mobile is taking pre-orders on the white G1. They will be shipped out on December 1, 2008. If you have another color; the only way you can exchange it is if its been 14 days since you purchased the phone.

    T-Mobile has the white G1 available now. I just ordered it today and they told me that I will receive it within 7 business days. It’s not on the web site or in stores but if you call customer service, they have it available. Suckers!

    yea its true the G1 in white is already on the upgrade page on tmobile.com but its not in stores yet on or the website, i order mine on november 19 and im getting mine this tuesday on november 25.

    The dates are different for many places, but the certain thing is that it will be on sale on black Friday or a few days after.
    You can get it by ordering on customer service only.
    Its a perk for t-mobile costumers.
    They fixed the paint chipping problem, besides you can get a skin for it. I’d rather get the white one since it’ll be cute with accesories. (Im a girl)

    Ok sweet I will be at the t-mobile store in the morning to trade out my black g1 for the white….I made sure and talked to a manager there releasing them in stores in the morning in san antonio….and I don’t care what anyone says the g1 no matter what color. Its a bad ass phone the white one just looks a little bit sexier…and you can get the invisible shield for you g1 it makes your phone glossy and shiny plus protects for no battle wounds

    Yes I ordered my white g1 online Thursday because I am an existing customers. I called all of the stores in my area and the all were sold out of the g1 or they only had black.

    I just checked online and they have the white g1 for sale on the main website so anybody that its going to open a line with tmobile can order the phone there and they will charge it on the bill when they get it, so if you really want the white one hurry because they say, they have a extremely limited supply, so get yours now before they wont have any for a long time

    i got the white g1 yesterday in s.f. at a tmobile store on market..
    i had a black one..the black one felt as if it were built better..the white one’s screen seems to sit a bit off to the left when closed, not flush with the keyboard..pretty lame lame lame..this phone is the one they made for the masses..that’s why they cut corners on it..like the camera sux..there’s no 3.5 jack..and yes they give you and adapter now with a four foot cord on it…stupid..this is a money making scam..other htc phones are amazing..this is bogus.

    You know the white google ones are availiable now. Their pretty cool though tmobile doesn’t have any working display models. I’m having to decide between the G1 and the Moto Q Global.

    i ordered the white tmobile g1 last monday oct24th and it was the first day it came out and was IN STORES. mine will be delivered via ups ground and will be here on monday (12/1/08). wouldnt have taken so long but it was a holiday. cant wait for it to get here!

    Yay! I just ordered my white G1 yesterday! It is coming in the mail within the next few days and i can not wait! I got the phone for $139, a 14.3% discount monthly, and a waived activation fee because I am in the education field. I reccommend everyone do their research cause with a few calls to tmobile, they found a way I was eligable for this discount. The lady said they have a long list of ways people can qualify for reduced prices but they don’t advertise them. Good Luck to everyone! I’m so excited! AHHHH!
