Nokia is now running a new viral marketing website with a hint of upcoming announcement in about 101 hours time. The website, OpenAtOwnRisk.com did not tell you what they are going to announce. The count down timer is about 101 hours and 30 minutes more from now, which turns out to be next Monday 5AM EST.

Nokia today announced the Nokia Wireless Loopset HS-67WL, an accessory designed specifically for improved mobile communications for people with hearing aids. The Loopset is expected to start shipping worldwide in the first quarter 2009, with an estimated price of less than 200 Euros, before applicable taxes or subsidies.

Nokia announced today that it has received unconditional approval from the European Commission for its planned acquisition of NAVTEQ. Nokia has now received all approvals for the purchase, and expects to close the deal within the next 5 business days.

According to idnes.cz, Samsung is planning to launch yet another full touch screen smartphone, the Samsung SGH-i740. The i740 the sucessor of Samsung i710, it has a 2.8-inch QVGA touch screen, 3 megapixel camera, built in GPS and FM radio receiver. The smartphone will be running with the new Windows Mobile 6.1 with a 624 MHz cpu.

Palm has just released the first ROM software update for Treo 755p users. The Treo 755p is available on Verizon Wireless in US. The software update will upgrade the software version to v1.08.
