Novatel Wireless today announced the Ovation MC935D USB Modem, a compact HSPA mobile broadband device optimized for HSPA networks in Europe with single-band 2100Mhz operation. Featuring a slim 10mm thickness, the Ovation MC935D provides peak download speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps and peak upload speeds of 5.76 Mbps.

Utilising Mobilink 3 Connection Manager Software preinstalled on the modem’s on-board memory, the MC935D is ready to plug-and-play. With support for single-band HSUPA/HSDPA as well as quad-band EDGE/GPRS for global roaming, and an integrated broadband antenna, the MC935D offers exceptional performance even in crowded and highly mobile environments or when traveling outside of Europe. The Ovation MC935D will be available Q2 of 2009.
