Nokia to Stop Offering Free Music Download For Their New Handsets
As most of us might have know, Nokia provide free music download service via Ovi Music. But according to Reuters, Nokia has decided to stop offering their free music download service to new handset purchasers.
Nokia unveiled the service in late 2008, Britain. Unfortunately, the service failed to attract customers and also because restrictive DRM that used by Nokia. Reuters also mention that the customers who currently still have a free music subscription will able to used it until their subscription runs out. It appears Vivendi’s Universal Music, EMI, Warner Music Group and the music arm of Sony are working together with Nokia to introduced the service to over 27 countries.
